In the mid 1990s I drove and financed my own Formula Ford team (pictured below) competing here in the United Kingdom. When the time came to sell the team I still had the same passion in my heart to race professionals on a regular basis. This passion inspired the birth of what would become www.cyberracingworldchampionship.com
The 'Cyber Racing World Championship' is an annual online motorsports championship exclusive to Microsofts Xbox live service. The series is dedicated to simulating a real life experience via the medium of console simulators. The invitation to become an official driver is available to those showing they have the discipline and professionalism to compete in the real world, regardless of speed. This basic standard is outlined in the 'Rules & Regulations' section of the website and is a mandatory read if you are competing.
Limiting the available number of race seats for each season achieves a grid many real world championships would be proud of. The international grids consist of past and present champions of many different online racing championships. Would you like to represent your country?
